Uptown Koenji Gallery is a rental gallery where artists exhibit their own work. Weekly rental is ¥70,000 (tax included), with no sales commission and no deposit. Artists from Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic and elsewhere have shown here. Inquiries in English are welcome.

SPACE
The space
- 35 m² (about 10.6 tsubo), total wall length approx. 17 m, white walls and a black exposed ceiling.
- 15 adjustable spotlights, picture rail with wires. Nails and pins are allowed (please fill the holes when you leave).
- Power outlets, water, toilet and a small backyard. No natural light; the room works under lighting only.
- Entrance by stairs from the side street (no elevator). Cafe & Bar Blue MOON is on the ground floor.
- Used for painting, photography, sculpture, installation, media art, talks, screenings, performances, rakugo and small-scale theatre.

- First-time users and students: ¥55,000 per week. 10% off from the second consecutive week.
- No sales commission: all proceeds from sales are yours. No deposit.
- Bookings open 6 months ahead. Weekly rentals are confirmed with a 30% deposit; the balance is due 60 days before opening.
- Payment by card (via invoice link) or bank transfer to the venue, ASAI Co., Ltd.

- Send the application form (you may write in English) or email uptownkoenji@gmail.com with your preferred dates, what you plan to show, and your website or social media.
- We reply within 2 days and hold the dates for 7 days. Viewings (30 min, free) can be arranged.
